A Warm Welcome from David and Liam
We’re David and Liam—thanks so much for stopping by! We first met through mutual friends back in 2016. At the time, Liam was working for the NHS, and David was working as a Civil Servant in Wales. Over the years, our shared love of good food, meaningful connection, and warm hospitality has been a constant in our lives.
In 2024, we decided it was time to stop saying “maybe next year” and finally took the leap to pursue a long-held dream: running our own café and bed and breakfast.
That dream became Riverbarn.
Hosting has always been at the heart of our relationship—whether it’s cooking a home-cooked meal for friends or opening our doors to family, we’ve always found joy in making people feel welcome. With Riverbarn, we’re extending that same spirit to our guests. Our goal is to create more than just a place to eat or stay—we want to offer an experience that feels inclusive, relaxed, and truly personal.

Our Accommodations
We offer a variety of rooms to suit every need, from cosy and intimate to spacious and luxurious. All of our rooms are beautifully appointed with a private entrance, well appointed ensuite bathrooms and comfortable furnishings made by local craftsmen.
*All our rooms are pet friendly with a £10 charge per pet ( per stay). *The Suite has a Sofa Bed that can sleep two children under 16yrs with an extra charge £25 per child per night - this can be added when you select number of occupants in Book your Stay.

There is so much to see and do in the area surrounding Riverbarn.
We are blessed with many walks just right outside our door.
Enjoy hiking, biking, fishing, and more in the great outdoors. Or explore historic landmarks, art galleries, safari parks and quaint shops in nearby towns.
